This allows you to charge your EV using excess solar production, maximising your self-consumption and minimising grid costs. Tesla chargers can be scheduled to charge during peak solar hours.
How fast will my EV charge?
Charging speed depends on your home's electrical supply. Single-phase homes typically get 7kW charging (adding about 40-50km range per hour). Three-phase homes can access up to 22kW (adding about 120-150km range per hour). We'll assess your electrical setup during your free consultation.
Do I need solar to install an EV charger?
No, you don't need solar to have an EV charger installed. All our chargers work with grid power. However, combining an EV charger with solar significantly reduces your running costs - you can essentially drive on sunshine!
